If it is possible you may need to slipstream drivers into a xp disk and then borrow or buy a usb CD rom drive. It may be possible to install in other ways too.

Might contact HP. They may sell you a disk to recover to Windows 7.

Is it stolen?

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

You should read the documentation that came with your HP netbook.

Normally, when you start the netbook the first time, it asks you to install the OS and asks you a couple of questions, such as location, time, etc.. If you are past this but did something wrong before completing the installation of the OS, then the documentation tells you how to resart the process.

If you want to upgrade your OS, then you can either prepare and use a USB stick that has the OS on it or buy an USB DVD drive and start the upgrade process from it.

Hope this helps.
