How do I install Windows 7 from recovery disc

August 24, 2010 at 16:16:59
Specs: Windows 7 Home Premium, Celeron 900 2.0GHz / 2GB RAM
I imaged? my OS to DVDs (3)
I installed Mandriva then decided to remove it
I used the first recovery disc to completely wipe hard drive
Now I can't reinstall OS from DVDs
The screen says

" Invalid partition table_"

I have tried booting from all 3 DVDs with no luck

It is on a Toshiba Satellite L455 multimedia notebook laptop

Sounds like either your image disk is NGood or you don't have the boot order set for CD before hard drive.

invalid partition table suggest that you need to format the drive with a windows dvd or a third party non linux tool..linux sets up its own partition table.
if you have a toshiba and did not format the factory reset hidden partition you should try the hidden recovery partition called the HDD Recovery Utility. This is accessed by pressing and holding the 0 (zero) key on the keyboard and then pressing the computer's power switch; this link will help you to complete the installation

after that you will have a good partition table and be able to run your image

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
