Every time I try to download PDFs I get the "cannot display webpage". I can download PDFs just fine on Firefox, but not Internet Explorer

In Firefox you probably have a 'Reader' plug in. For Internet Explorer you will need to download Adobe Reader from Adobe.com > Downloads and install it (download with Internet Explorer to make sure you get the correct one). You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
