How do you not know your own WIFI password? Try reading the documentation that came with your wireless router. If you don't have it, go to the manufacturer's website & download it. Then look into how to reset the router or enter the router setup program to either recover or change the password (you'll need to be hardwired to do it). The thing is, once it's reset, no one else who uses your WIFI will be able to connect until you supply them with the network name & new password/passphrase.

Make and model of router would enable pholks here to advise you exactly how to login to your router from any computer, connected to the router via a cat-5/ethernet cable. Once you do that it's a relatively simple matter to find the wifi password for that router - from the wifi setup section in the router's admin/management access pages.

No need of a rest routine. If - as riider suggests - you may, or ought to, have the manual for your router, it's all in there re' accessing the wifi setup etc.

Meanwhile what make/model is your router?

You may also be able to look at the password on one of your other devices that is using the Wifi connection, there is sometimes a check box to show the password. This box is not typically checked so that someone casually looking as it logs on cannot see it but it is an option on some devices. I would advise unchecking it when you are done though.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
