Specs: Windows 7, AMD Ath. 64 x2 6
How do I get all my ram to show? In system, it shows 6 mg ram, 4 useable. How do I get all 6 to show as useable??

My wife has a Toshiba Laptop with a 32 bit version of Windows 7 and we had this same issue. Check this article out and ensure that you are indeed 64 bit.

If you're running a 32-bit OS, approx 3.5GB +/- is all that will be usable. There's no way around other than to install a 64-bit OS.

Either your board doesn't fully support the RAM you have installed, or 2GB is being allocated for onboard graphics.

Besides the possibility of a 32/64 bit windows thing, there are other causes described in the MS link in # 1.

This fellow changed the ram frequency in bios setup and fixed the problem:

Opened my machine and saw I had 2 4mg sticks. Pulled one and comp wouldnot boot. Replaced the other and back in business. Bad stick of ram.
