how do I fix netflix error code n8157-3141?

Specs: Windows 7
i'm out of ideas... i checked my computer settings and browser settings, i have enough RAM and all that, speed-tested my internet and its fine, reinstalled silverlight 4 and made sure its allowed through my firewall settings, i use firefox 3.6 & have windows 7 (32 bit). i called netflix who sent me to microsoft, tried to follow the instructions from the microsoft guy's e-mail (which didn't work out)... anyone have any idea why this is happening? its an "audio system error". i checked for driver updates (through windows- my computer has Realtek high definition audio) and it said i had the latest update already. i don't know a whole lot about computers so i don't know if that is good, bad or indifferent. Its an HP Pavilion desktop that is about 4 years old, but it crashed so i just had a brand new hard drive installed 3 months ago. thanks for any help/suggestions.

I went to Microsoft Knowledge Base and searched for your error.
I used AOL and their addresses don't always work on IE
Any way put your error number - Select Windows 7 - and click the circle
for Search the Web. Click Search. Not Microsoft.

Here I found others having the same problem as you.

I was having trouble finding the right Microsoft location. Try this one and take
your pick.

Ive been having the same problem for about a week now. I finally checked all my audio setting... and in my speaker settings there was an error. Clicked on the speaker test button for my current speakers and it tested OK. Tryed Netflix again and it worked no probems. PC
