how do I FIND OUT who my POP or DSN server is

Specs: Windows 7
being told that Idont have a dns server means what.....and how do I correct this....

You should have combined both of your posts into one.

Your DNS or Domain Network Server assigns you your individual IP address of your computer. This means different things if this is a single computer or a few computers at home or small office that are connected as a pier to pier network, OR if you are on a larger server network. At home or in a small office without a server you would generally have a router that will be your firewall to the internet and show the world a single IP address assigned by your ISP, BUT the router becomes your DNS and assigns interior IP addresses to your individual computers that are not visible to the outside. For a high speed internet connection you need a router, even if you only have one computer (wired or wireless).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
