How do I Dual Boot ?

Specs: Windows 64
Laptop with win 7,
External USB drive with working XP installed.

if you bios supports booting from usb you would mount it that way.

otherwise to create a multiboot you would have to do a repair install of xp to get it booting. That will result in win7 not booting. Then you do a repair of win7 boot and everything will work again but you will have both.

The easiest way to do this is to use EasyBCD to amend the Win7 BCD. The 7 bootloader is far superior to XP's, as you will be able to work with it at any time. Just plug in the XP drive, go to Add Entry, and the rest is pretty automatic.
