how do I delete a user off my c drive? I bought a used computer from a pawn shop. The owner has locked files on the c-drive, which is blocking me from doing things on the pc. I have windows 7. It's located in : C:\Users\Whitney Calvin Which is saying is an administrator and I can't delete it or modify it in any way. But on my list of users under management, I am the only administrator listed.

looks like u dont have enough security privileges..
right click on yr C:\ partition>then click on securit tab> edit permissions> then click on the allow boxes all of em apply and save.
does it work now ?
if that did not work. there is a more brute force solution

You can do it with the User Profiles dialog in System Properties:

Properites for Computer
Advanced system settings (on the left side)
Settings for User Profiles (in the middle)
Select the profile you want to delete and click the delete button

computers are a second home
