Specs: Windows 7
Recently used a registry cleaner software, and it messed with a lot of my system settings, so i tried to restore it to before it cleaned my registry, and all of my files have been converted to .lnk extensions. I've tried solutions used for problems similar to mine like using the http://www.winhelponline.com/fileas... file, but i get the error that i don't have program associated with performing this action, when i try to install it. Windows explorer wont even come up as it has been converted to a .lnk file as well. I was lucky to get my web browser to run and seek help before i just reinstalled the os
