Here's something that might help. Right click on the Start button then click Properties. Click the Taskbar tab & under Notification area, click the Customize button. When the Notification Area window comes up, go to the bottom & put a check in the box next to "Always show all icons & notifications on the taskbar", then click OK. You will now have all icons displayed in the lower right of the screen. One of them should be for the wireless. It looks like THIS. If the icon is not there, wireless isn't enabled.

Do you have a wireless router? Do you have a wireless card in your PC or laptop? Is the card enabled & drivers installed?

Yes the router is wireless, looked online to confirm the computer is wireless and apparently so (parents computer) can't seem to find if it is enabled or how to do it if not, I have attempted to update the drivers I think it worked. I'm not computer savvy but slightly better than my parents.

Getting desperate now and losing the will to live.

Start by posting the model / model number of your computer. "Enhanced Experience 3" is a Lenovo software configuration, not the model.
