The DVD player doesn't recognize the non-playing files' audio format whereas your computer does. The TV/DVD manual should say what formats it's compatible with. Then check to see what format the ones that don't play audio are. That should be the file extension as in filename.ext where ext would be the extension.

You can probably convert the non-playing files into a compatible format.

You could try a freebie dvd authoring tool program that can burn videos that will play not only on you computer, but on your dvd player as well.

I use a freeware program http://www.freemake.com/free_video_...
that will easily convert any video to a different format. You may want to try it.

One word of caution...when installing ANY software BE SURE to do a CUSTOM install and UNCHECK all the extras that want to load up with the program. That way you will not pick up spyware, viruses, etc.

As another precaution, I ALWAYS run adwcleaner http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
right after I install any prog. It will pick up anything that might have squeezed through on the installation. Download directly from @BleepingComputer site
