how can i zip multiple files with same names

Specs: Windows 7
how can i zip multiple files with same names but having different extension like .pdf and .xlsx or .pdf and .dwg files having same file names

<file>.pdf.zip, <file>.xlsx.zip , <file>.dwg.zip
Or you can select all these files in one zip file...

I don't understand what the problem is. If the file extensions are different then Windows should zip all the files even if they have the same names.

Wondering if I'd gone bonkers I tried it and it worked just fine. I just used "Send to" and selected "Compressed folder".

I need batch file to create multiple zip file for files with same name like for example:

a.pdf and a.xls
b.pdf and b.xls
c.pdf and c.xls etc...

files are there in particular oflder then need a batch file command which in one go give below zip files

a.zip
b.zip
c.zip etc..
