Go to Control Panel > Network and sharing > Change adapter settings. See if your Wifi shows there. If it says Enable that means it is actually disabled so hit Enable.

If you've lost your Wifi settings you will need to find your Network name then use your pass key.

All a little strange though. Ethernet is usually more reliable than Wifi.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Frequently the router wifi name (its SSID - the name it shows in the list of wifi access points in your immediate area) ) is on a label on the base of the router; and the access key (often incorrectly called the password) is also (often) there.

If it isn't and you still can't connect via wifi to your router - post back. You may need to reset the router and then start over. If you reset the router the ethernet connection "ought" to be OK; and you then go into the router's management section to enable the wifi signal.

But first - when you go into the network area as detailed by Derek above, also check the the ethernet connection is enabled... It is possible it has been disabled too...

Also post back with make and model of your router; as that way pholks here can more easily assist you to get it all working again (both ethernet and wifi).
