Hi, guys...
I was accidentally downgrading my Win 7 to XP in my Toshiba Satellite T130. It's totally my mistake. Worsely, I forgot to make Win 7 recovery disks, and have no official Win 7 disc.
Is there still any hope that I can recover my Win 7? I heard that if there's no Win 7 disc from the manufacturer, it may be stored in a hidden partition.

I have never "downgraded" but I seem to remember being able to uninstall XP from an upgrade by going to add\remove programs then to add\remove windows components. I read on the toshiba web site that it does include Windows XP which is probably how you downgraded.

you can always do a factory restore, if you didnt delete the recovery partion, its Usually tapping an F key key at boot, however on many Toshiba machines, you have to tap the 0 zero key..that should lead you to the initial installation which if it was win 7 will still be win 7..

i hate computers!
