Look at the vents and see if they're blocked with dust. Does it appear to get hot?

I have checked the vents, and I use a fan. It is not over heating. I have removed the battery and replaced it.

Anything specific being done on the computer when it happens?

If not heat, it could be a bad memory stick. If you have more than one, try both sticks but one at a time to see if there is a repeat on each separately. Or run Memtest86 to verify memory.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
