How can I connect my Netbook with the TV?

September 4, 2010 at 12:57:11
Specs: Windows 7
Afriend of mine connected her laptop to her tv and could operate her tv via the laptop. She said it was done through one of the provisions of windows media player, and one must have window starter 7 which I also have. I forgot the name of the window media player provision but when the display came up on the screen of her netbook, i saw a box to click which says duplicate and other boxes with different functions.

Actually it is done through Windows Media Center, not Windows Media Player.
Go HERE and read the tutorials.

This is part of the graphics card driver.
You have to configure, in which mode the graphics card should operate, when a second screen or a TV is connected.
You normally have the choice to only use the primary screen (notebook diskplay), the second screen (the TV screen), or both, where both can be used in virtual screen mode or in duplicate mode, where both screens will bring up the same content.

The original poster should always write the last response !!!
Let us know, if the problem is solved !!!

A Netbook most likely will not have the ability due to light versions of the Windows OS on them.
