Home PC shuts down when connected to internet only

Specs: Windows 7
Have Windows 7 - Computer boots up - within a minute it restarts and keeps doing that when online only.

Norton 360 just expired and then it started doing that the same day.

Norton log is showing an intrusion attempt but ran full scan in safe mode and it removed a few tracking cookies and thats it. Still doing it.

Cant be online long enough to do anything without it shutting off.

Download Malwarebytes (use another machine and transfer the installer using a flash drive). Run Malwarebytes in Safe Mode with Networking. Remove all it finds. Then restart in normal mode and download a better antivirus program, Avast Free Version is a good choice and better than Norton by far. Uninstall Norton, restart and immediately install Avast Free Version. Update and scan. It will remain free as long as you register it (though after a year, it may bug you again to purchase a paid version - there is an easy way around that though).
If you still have trouble after running Malwarebytes, or you cannot install or run Malwarebytes, perform a System Restore to a date long before you began having trouble. Then Install Malwarebytes, Update and Run it and remove all it finds. Then try switching your antivirus program. You do not want to uninstall your antivirus program until you are sure that you do not have an infection, or it might get much worse very fast.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
