hmit on hotmail logout

May 5, 2011 at 14:28:08
Specs: Windows Vista, 2.00Ghx, 2.0GB
Logging out of hotmail takes me to the page: instead of the default msn page. Yes - ww. not www.

This is obviously a false page and I get the message 'server cannot be found'

The problem occurs whatever browser I use or whatever version of windows. It is email specific in that it only happens on my account and two other which are networked. I have opened a new hotmail account for test purposes and this is OK!

It is nothing to do with my ISP either as it happens wherever I log on/out from.

No other web pages are affected

hmit on logout. I have now discovered that is part of the hotmail logout process. What is actually happening is that logout is 'hanging' at that point. I now know the problem but not the answer!
