Just got a new laptop with windows 7 and am using live mail on the desktop. How do you disable the live feeds from coming in as I don't want those. Mary

Have you tried WLM, Tools, Manage feeds?

Where do I find tools? I don't see it across the top like I had it in windows mail. I do have options up there but that just has the same stuff to configure my mail signature and read receipts and stuff. On the bottom left I see feeds but nothing anywhere that says manage feeds, am I missing something on my tool bar at the top? When I first set it up I had 160 feeds and deleted them all and now haven't seen anymore come in.

Googling gave me nothing on anyone else asking this either, strange as I can't be the only one that doesn't want feeds coming in and just want to get at my mail. Mary

✔ Best Answer
The "live feed" you speak of is actually RSS Feed. You have to tweak Internet Explorer to manage the feed to your WLM. Read the following article ...

Thank you that article is exactly what I need. There were 160 when I set up the mail yesterday so wasn't sure if it had me automatically subscribed to all of those or what but no more have come in so I am going to assume no. Now that I understand what they are I think there are a few things I would like to get feeds for. Mary
