Specs: Windows 7
Hello. I was trying to get rid of a sweetpacks search from a cnet.com download. Googles advise and did: options, advanced, reset. After rebooting, I now have IE 10 when had IE 7 originally installed. 10 is not compatable with my printer; I have lost all the headings in upper section like home; favorites; search, etc. I can't find this IE 10 in the list of programs to maybe try and delete. Can anyone help me get IE 7 back? ASAP response would be most appreciated and Thanks kindly.

First of all, click on the “Start” button and type “Programs and Features” in the search box. Click on the “View installed updates” in the left pane of the menu.

Go over to the “Uninstall an update” screen and scroll down to the “Microsoft Windows” section. Simply select Internet Explorer 10 and click “Uninstall.”

I found IE 10 on the list but the date is 5-3-2013 and this just happened today. If I do as you suggest, will IE 7 be removed? Thanks.

Your printer should not have any issues when using Any version of IE. Windows 7 drivers are what control the printer.

You SHOULD be using IE10, if you are going to use IE at all. I personally use Firefox myself for most things.

If you have toolbars not showing then just right click on a blank space in the toolbar in 10 and check Menu bar, Navigation toolbar and bookmarks toolbar.
