Probably use software like this. Put the computer in a place where you can see it all the time. If he really wants to see it, you won't stop him, but at least you can monitor your own computer.

Also explain how porn can distort his expectations. His hormones are probably raging. If he is using the computer behind closed doors he is probably doing something else while viewing.

Netnanny might stop a 5 year old but a 14 yo will know how to get past that.

I'd use my router or modem. They have a password (if only you know it) that can limit the connection times. Set times to only a small window on days that you are there to observe.

I used to suggest one get a christian based ISP but kids know a way around that.

Your time there is the only secure means. Lock out the web connection by the built in controls. If your modem doesn't have it see about a more modern one that has the basic controls.

They make and sell some advanced firewall device that some techs could make or you could buy and install that my help also. They can limit to only a few web pages. Even if you are there he could peek.

It may be more of an American issue. Not sure kids in other countries have such an issue. One one hand we let them see almost everything suggestive on TV, and movies but never let them get the full picture or full meaning of the human nature.

Windows 7 also has Parental Controls the can be set up per user where the parents set up an account with admin rights and separate user accounts for everyone and use the parental controls to restrict access. I had only girls and was able to teach them intelligent browsing and things to avoid. I am not claiming they never looked, but girls generally have a different attitude toward porn until they get older. Boys would naturally be drawn more strongly.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

A live cd can get past any W7 control.

My wife is 50 and I still can't get her to watch porn. How long do I have to wait?
