Hi Kempoman.
I'e the same trouble (error code 0xe0ef0003) with my HP G62, and setting restore with Recovery Manager doesn't work.

Do you have HP factory restore disks yet?
I need them to restart my machine.

Kind regards,

The restore files are on your hard drive. All you need to do is tap the F11 key at startup to launch the recovery. Make sure you have no external devices connected to your laptop. You will most likely lose all your files & programs though, is that a sacrifice you're willing to make?

I did a quick search & found several hits in the HP forums pointing to either a bad memory module or a failing hard drive. It would help if you'd post the complete error message, not just the code.
