have Windows 7 problem with norton 360

Specs: Windows 7
I get a message that my Norton needs a tune up so I press the fix now button but it starts doing disk optimizing and then stops and tells me error

When Norton throws up an error it should have an error number and if you click on that it will open the error description and (hopefully) the resolution.

It's a pity that the paid for version of the 'best' free one (Avast) doesn't even do as good a job, so how do you think the free one would compare?

I don't think Norton is the "big bad wolf" it used to be, but once a product has a bad reputation it sticks and is repeated forever on forums.
