Were you performing the restore while running on battery power?

Why were you performing the restore in the first place?

It sounds like a RAM or Harddrive problem. Test memory with Memtest86 and test hard drive with hard drive manufacturer's utility.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

if its a harddrive/OS install issue, you should be able to get into bios by tapping del at boot, if you cant get into the bios you have a problem other than win 7.

open the small covers on the base and reseat the memory sticks as well as the HDD make sure all connections are good and tight then restart, if you have more than 1 memory stick try 1 at a time in each slot this will prove a bad stick or a bad slot.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

ok,i have tried the two memory slots one at a time, and when i boot up on both ocasions i still came up to the frozen intel logo screen.when i shot down and remove the hard drive and power up back it will come on for a sec and then shot down, when i press del key with ctrl on boot up i reach to a bios but it state every thing is ok,press F12 if u want to boot from net work, and F11 for BBS POPUP.and The MCH is operating with DDR2 533/CL3 in Single-Channel Mode. Initializing USB Controllers...Done 2040MB OK Auto-Detecting Pri Master..Hard Disk
Auto-Detecting Sec Master.. ATAPI CDROM/Pri Master:WDC WD3200BEVT-22A23TO 01.01A01 Ultra DMA MODE-6, S.M.A.R.T. Capable and Status Ok. but there is nothing here to save if i press F11 or F!2 every thing just sits there, and when i restarts its just the same old logo screen.
