Solved GUIOCRSprite.exe what is it?

Specs: Microsoft Windows 7 Professionnel, i7 4790k/16Gig Corsair Vengeance
Ever heard of this? came up empty with google...this is a system file...in the same folder as application debugger runtime

Don't you hate it when your pc....ummm, nevermind.

I don't know it and Google also came up empty for me as well (very unusual). Since it is an .exe it is executable so do not click on it unless you find out more about it. Searching Microsoft's site does not come up with anything either.
Scan your system with Malwarebytes just to be sure though.
Double check the spelling of the name though, if different, retry Google.
Send a note off to Malwarebytes developers and/or your antivirus program' developers for their opinions, they might want a copy of the file itself if it is really new to them.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Verify the spelling is right. I also googled lower case L and 1 (one) instead of I and zero instead of O and got no hits either.

As already mentioned, it might be virus related as they often use randomly named files that don't show in a google search.

Because you are aware of the files location you can upload it (the single file) to virustotal to have it scanned by multiple AV engines.

Even if the file isn't recognised heuristic scanning looking for malicious coding should detect if there's any.

Your scan results should determine for you the threat level of the file.

Thanks for all the response!

I just did a clean install of win 7 pro...think i got this when i downloaded believe it or not a version a net framework that wasn't installed properly(from gigabyte xpress install mobo disc) from a big commercial download site similar to tucows...anyways when i installed AVG it picked up right away...lucky me.

Thanks again, and virus total is in my bookmarks now.

Don't you hate it when your pc....ummm, nevermind.
