Specs: Windows 7, athlon 64 3200/ 1GB
Just installing Windows 7 Ultimate and did system updates. When i try to search google using internet explorer, none of the regular searches come up. For example i typed in mozilla firefox and not one link for mozilla came up. I type in vlc media player and their website doesnt come up. When you manually type in the site into the address bar it loads fine. I installed mozilla firefox like that and the same thing happens with mozilla firefox. Google search takes long to load then doesnt show anything relevant. All the other comps usin xp are workin just fine. What's the deal? Is there a setting I have to change?

DOWNLOADED WINDOWS 7 ????? How/Where did you download windows 7 from? As far as I know (except for pre-release Beta versions) you cannot download windows 7. You need to purchase a copy on DVD media. Delete the partition, format, and start again with a legit copy of windows 7.

If you were using a proper copy and were having this trouble, you most likely have an infection and need to clean it out. (( are you going to Google.com to search, or are you using the google search bar???))
