April 8, 2013 at 17:09:18
Specs: Windows 7
Cannot start Google Chrome
Have deleted everything including user data and reinstalled
Still does not load

I have since used Norton to clean up registry but Chrome is still not starting.

the only error message I get is a Windows 7 message to say the Chrome has crashed.

That Google Chrome version doesn't sound right. The current release is 26, not 28. Where did you download Google Chrome from?

Versions 27 & 28 are developer ones, you can download them from many places but they are the 'under development' ones, not final release..

So you should start off by uninstalling the version you are using and then download/install the current 'working' version from https://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/c...
