Google Chrome & silverlight suck !

Gateway M320xl notebook

Specs: win 7, 64 bit desktop
I have tried to use both programs very seriously in Win 7 Ultimate on a fastest notebook out there in the market, HP Pavalion DV4 with 8 GB RAM fully loaded, tested the browser for 3 months in all kinds of web pages, downloading files, I have come to the conclusion for 3 reasons,
1) : when downloading files the from hotmail for instance in attachments,
it takes several clicks more & heck of a longer time to download.
2): It converts the original file into somethhing differnent before putting it in download folder.
3): Files size in the end is larger than previous one.
I tested opening txt doc from hotmal account & it consequently converted into docx or latest version, now the thing is people don't have the latest software on the whole planet, some people still use word 2000 or earlier.
The whole process is more time consuming than faster / quality / safe browsing on the the whole.

I prefer Firefox.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
This site is about helping people, lets keep it that way.
