Solved Google Chrome fails to open

December 6, 2013 at 02:26:22
Specs: Windows 7
Google Chrome has stopped this morning when I switched on my desktop computer. It works in Firefox but not on Chrome itself. All tabs are blank and when I try to open email or the BBC for example I get the message that the extension has crashed and to click on the bubble to reload - nothing!

Can you help please

✔ Best Answer
You didn't say which extension had crashed.
Remove and re-install Google Chrome.

Many thanks for the suggestion. I tried to remove same but kept getting a message to remove all Google connected pages, which I repeatedly failed to succeed in doing. However I did a system restore and Google Chrome returned to me - and the first notification I received from 'file-hippo' was to update Google Chrome, which I did and it is now working.
I am a fan of Google and this is the first time it has 'frozen' on me.
