Specs: Windows 7
I want get rid of bing and go back to internet explorer as search engine. Need best way to accomplish and get (IE) back - Don't mind having bing and google as elective search engines but as primary I can not access certain web sites. Tks for any help

Internet Explorer is not a search engine, it's a web browser, so please explain what you mean.

Your old search engine was by default Microsoft which is now renamed Bing so you do have the same thing (except that they changed it). If you do not like it then choose Google from the drop down list or choose another one. Sorry, 'progress'.

I don't understand the question either. As pip22 stated, IE is a web browser, not a search engine. Do you mean you have Bing set as your Home Page? Or maybe you installed the Bing toolbar?

I believe that the OP is referring to the old Microsoft search that was the default originally with Internet Explorer before they switched it to Bing. Since it does not exist any longer, he got Bing with an update or upgrade to Internet Explorer.
