Gateway NV79 laptop will not boot up to windows

Specs: Windows 7, INTEL Core i3 / 2.13GHz
I am receiving:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable.
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
No bootable device -- insert boot disc and press any key

I do not have a boot disc, is there a way around it? If no, what product is the best to solve?

"PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable."

This means your system is trying to boot from the network adapter because the hard drive has failed. You will need to replace the hard drive with a new one and install Windows on it.

That is assuming you didn't do something to the hard drive to make it not bootable.

Watch the POST screens at start up to see if the hard drive is being configured. If you don't see an POST screens you may need to enter the BIOS (setup) and disable fast start and possibly the brand logo.
