Solved Gateway laptop won't turn on WIFI

May 12, 2017 at 10:22:19
Specs: Atom, 1 GB DDR3 Memory
I go to network settings and turn on wireless network connection and when I leave that and go back again it shows that wireless is turned off. Is there a function key for this problem?
It is Gateway laptop Intel Atom N570.
LT2803h

Look for a switch on the side. If you find it then use Fn+F2.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

No switch on side. One on bottom with lock and unlock symbols. Is this it and if so, which setting?

No, that stuff underneath doesn't sound right. Apparently some Gateways have a switch just below the screen.

However, I've just viewed a replacement keyboard for an LT2803h and it shows a wireless symbol on F3 along the top of the keyboard. So it seems Fn + F3 is likely.
