games shutting down win7 64bit

Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, AMD Athlon x2 4200+/ 8GB RAM
When ever I run installed games in WIN7 64bit, after a few minutes of gameplay they power off my PC without warning.

I have spent time and money replacing various hardware and updating BIOS, DirectX, Nvidia drivers and any other updates I can find and it still happens. Only thing not looked at it PSU. Everything worked fine in 32bit.

Any ideas?

Did you install Windows 7 64bit motherboard and other drivers? Did you check in your BIOS to make sure you are set to 64bit computing in there?
After that, install SpeedFan to monitor internal temperatures to see if your problem can be traced to there. If your temperatures are OK, then test your memory with Memtest86. Either overheating or a bad RAM stick can cause your type of problem.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
