Desktop Gadget Popup message
Hello All,
I need your support to figure out a problem related with Gadget notification pop up.
Scenario:
Following GP is applied to disable gadgets on user's Win7 enterprise desktops.
user config -> admin templates->win components-> desktop gadgets->turn off desktop gadgets -> enabled
-> turn off user-installed desktop gadgets -> enabled

Problem:
After this GP is applied, and the user logs in to the desktop, As soon as the desktop is ready, the same following message appears every time the user logs in to his desktop.

Question:
Is there a way to suppress this false negative message, so that this message does not appear every time when the users logs in to their desktops?

Best Regards,
Tom

Turn off the Windows Sidebar for that user account.

Hello Phil,

I have completely removed the registry key associated with enabling the sidebar.
However the message still pops up while the user logs in.

Is there a parameter that can be added into settings.ini found under C:\program files\windows sidebar\settings.ini ?

Because we will have to disable the Gadget to multiple desktops.
