Question: Did you install as upgrade or fresh install?, if upgrade...that may be the culprit. In my PC repair experience many times new installs that are slow are because parties install a new system over an existing old one without removing the old one first.

Hope that helps.

"Did you install as upgrade or fresh install?, "

f you ever did an upgrade from XP to windows 7 you would know it has to be a complete fresh install. You can ONLY upgrade from Windows Vista.

Try the windows 7 upgrade advisor to see that and more.

ravirules,

You didn't list how much ram on your PC for windows 7....if you installed 32 BIT windows Ultimate you need at least 1GB of ram (that's the least you can use).
Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers
