fresco logic hdmi not displaying on TV using Windows 7

Specs: Windows 7, Intel Pentium D 925

I have a HP Pavillion 500-281 with Windows 7 installed. I bought a Fresno USB to HDMI adapter and connected the cables to the TV. I have installed the driver. Device Driver indicates I have USB Video Class Device. When checking Devices my Samsung TV is displayed. However I have not found a way to get the TV to display. I have the computer set up for dual displays, but am evidently missing something. Any Help would be great.

Since it's a TV and not a monitor, you'll probably need to go in to it's setup menu and change the "source" from TV to PC. That's what I have to do when I want to use my dual-purpose TV as a PC monitor.

My TV does not have a setup menu, but I do have to set it to a HDMI connection which is where my computer cable is is connected.

Tx for your interest, Uncle Dewey

The adapter for USB to HDMI is installed as another device and I have no idea as to how to make it a driver. The supplier does not answer a request for technical support. I plan to move on and try to find another device that can do the job, unless some one has new info.

THANKS A MIL, Uncle Dewey
