depends on how you define maintenance.
blowing dust out of the cpu and power supply would be once a year.

all other duties like chkdsk /defrag /disk cleanup /malware/virus checks should happen far more frequently.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

How many spit wads a year do they get?

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

well its quite obvious that if you have to do a monthly schedule, with only 30 machines you can do 1 machine a day each day of the month, with just a remote login, clean up all crap, you dont have to worry about defragging with win 7, chkdisk is fine to run, set as many options to auto, delete temp internet files on closure of browser etc, updates on all AV and windows should run on auto.. with 30 machines, 1 machine a day will leave you lots of time to run maintenance on the other equipment and iff you get bored you can always play with the routers and networks for a while see if you can make then better... and 2 times a year you can do a full blowout and cleanup.. depends on how much work you want to do each day..
