Formatt drive (C)

Specs: Windows 7, 6gigs ram
I have a duel system with vista on drive C and windows 7 on drive D no matter what i do i cannot get rid of the vista and fromatt the drive have tried to put the windows 7 in but it starts install before asking if i need to formatt the drive, tries to right click and choose tne formatt opting but with no luck.

Any suggestions would be helpfull thanks.

Err....download FDisk image >> burn it to a CD >> boot from the CD >> format the C:\ partition.

Before doing that, download EasyBCD, and remove Vista from the boot list.

W7 and Vista are similar Operating Systems, and Vista is more resource-hungry than W7. Getting rid of Vista will help u to gain disk space as well. Just make sure you have no important data on the C:\ partition before formatting.

Nevertheless, you don`t have to remove Vista so as to gain disk space. You might want run Disk Cleanup and CCleaner, which would release at least 1GB of disk space (if not cleaned regularly ), and clean the registry and alot of other things as well.
