Forgot windows 7 password, can not log into laptop :(

June 4, 2012 at 11:50:48
Specs: Windows 7
I am constantly changing my password for my laptop. I deleted it one day. A few days later my computer was acting funny. So I restored it to a day I knew it was fine. It just so happened that the point to which I restored it was one of the days I had a password. I have tried every password I can think of and CAN NOT remember the correct one. I have tried putting my computer in safe mode, does not work. Keeps asking me for a password!! SOOO ANNOYING! If anyone knows how I can reset my password myself, that would be GREAT. All of my school files are on my computer. :( If I am not able to reset it myself, is there any way I can take it to a pro to fix it without deleting all of my files??

"I am constantly changing my password for my laptop"

Why?

"If anyone knows how I can reset my password myself, that would be GREAT"

Try googling "forgot admin password" & you'll have your answer.

It's creditably, that you're changing your passwords periodicly.

But, there is no support for password cracking in this forum.

If you'd like to get your files from your computer and save it e.g. to a USB-stick, use a linux live cd, boot your system from this cd and copy the files.

After that, reinstall your windows from scratch and think about a good plan, to remember your passwords.

A good repair shop ought to easily fix this. Not all that good. Seems like a trivial task to find out how to use a web search to find an answer.

Hang up and live.

I'm changing my password because I don't want anyone to find it out. I'm constantly around people. & as for googling it, I have. And clearly have not found a solution, otherwise I wouldn't be asking this is a forum. ;)

Why should they find out. Have you ever stood behind someone and try to see what keys they are pressing when there is nothing on the screen. Unless you are a one finger pick and poke typist it is not easy.

The ting to do there is not to enter your password when there is anyone stood behind you. Tell them to move.

The least of your worries when it comes to security,

Amazingly simple!
