I was rebuilded that computer that the mapped network drive was on so I didn't back up any of the files (becuase they are on this computer as offline files) I started up the new computer i just rebuild and used the same servername and file location thining the sync center will put all the files on rebuild machine. Well nope it deleted all of my offline files -_- how can i recover them? they are not in the recycle bin. You thing a system restore will help?

system restore does not deal with user files. backup does. no backup = no file reocovery.

Number of data recovery softwares available via google.

Offline file are not stored on the server.

What do you mean rebuilt? Reload OS? If so files are gone.

Ok I have a folder that is physically on computer A mapped to Computer B (this one). I had enabled offline files for computer B and re installed the OS on Computer A. I'm trying a file recovery as I type.

Another question is I still have some files in the Mapped Folder (not all of them got deleted) where are they on the computer B's HD? If you look at the properties of a file it gives you the mapped address like z:/
