Specs: Windows 7
When i turn my computer (dell inspiron 560) to sleep the fan gets louder than what it is when the computer is not in sleep. When i wake up the computer from sleep the fan will then get quiter again. What can i do to make the fan quiter when it is in sleep mode?

Check the BIOS setup (press "F2" at the Dell logo when booting) and make sure that "ACPI Suspend Type" in the "Power Management Setup" section is set to "S3".

Unless you know what you are doing, don't change anything else.
