Solved Extra OEM License

Specs: Windows 7
Win 7 OEM License quandary

I ordered Win 7 from a 3rd party seller over at Amazon. Package arrived damaged. Spine of DVD case literally destroyed, dvd cracked in half from center to edge from high impact from a sharp instrument. How do I know that. After further inspection case sleeve, DVD case AND USPS bag has tiny hole. Amazon is going to give me a refund. The kicker? I ordered Win 7 pro 64bit oem Full DVD 1 pack. I received 64bit AND 32bit.32 bit while scratched it is usable. It is not what I wanted or ordered. The 64bit is what I need for my system with 8GB of RAM. I have an extra computer that my roommate could use but no OS. I have been told by Amazon that there is no need to send in package and packaging. Amazon and I also E-Mailed the seller and because it has been well over their 3 day window to respond I filed a claim against them. They did not respond to Amazon's or my inquiry. When I purchase the 64bit OEM again I will have 2 x OEM license for Win 7. Am I supposed to destroy the OEM license or can I use it? This is not a case of take and use software and then send it back. This is a case of destroyed hardware and extra software I was not expecting that can be used by my roommate.

Personally I'd say treat it as a gift - if Amazon don't want it back then it's yours to do with as you wish. The activation key is the important part & if that's still readable then go ahead & use it.
