Ext drives ,USB stick USB sata drive

Specs: Win 7, 4 gig
The same problem here win 7 wants to format 4gig drive in win 7 not in xp
So delete the partition in win 7 unplug replug and it wants to format again
,perplexed no virus no security software no safe boot does it on one other drive as well 250 gig sata ext

I don't understand.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

in disk management delete the partition, create a new one, you then need to give it a letter and name, format to ntfs and it should be ready to use.
it maybe that your drives are formatted to fat/fat16?

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
