every tym i boot my laptop,it shows an error saying " system BIOS shadowed, video BIOS shadowed, warning check date and time and system CMOS checksum bad default configuration used"
It sounds like the CMOS battery on the motherboard is dying. This battery holds the settings when other power is removed and it needs replacing. On desktops this is very easy and some laptops is almost as simple as long as you are comfortable taking it apart. I understand that on some laptops the battery is not a pop out coin but may have a wire lead or may be soldered in. You can research your laptop model to see how difficult it is or bring it into someone for service. (Google "Changing CMOS battery on ........") You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
