Every time Windows 7 boots everything is new.

Specs: Windows 7, Intel duel core 3Gig
The balloon that appears at start up says, my profile is not available. Contact administrator .I have just installed the OS a week ago. During that time once in a while , when I moved a file, it freezes up. I also have been unable to copy anything to CD or DVD. I can't think of anything else.

You should post the model number for your computer. Did you perform a clean install or over the top of Windows?

Did you install drivers? If you installed from install disk rather than recovery disk or recovery partition, you will need to download and install all of your drivers.
Yes, on a reinstall everything is gone, you will need to start over with all of your settings.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
