Event ID: 7000 Computer freezing?

Specs: Windows 7, 4GB

Since maybe a month now my computer has been regularly freezing at random moments with no sign of any problems. Other than this one problem my computer is one of the fastest i've ever had :P. Therefore, I checked to see what was going on and my Event Viewer told me that i was having a SCM error. I did a sc query for the specific driver and got this:

WIN32_EXIT_CODE : 2 (0x2)

I went on Kernel's website to see whether or not I could find driver update to solve the problem but i have no idea first of all which one to get and secondly where to download it. Therefore, i am seeking expert help. Does anyone know how to resolve my solution? And also how to stop my computer from freezing?

If this began happening suddenly, I would first try a system restore to a date before the problem started. I would then follow this by a scan with Malwarebytes to see if the cause is from that area.
If this is a relatively new computer that came with Windows 7, then I would recommend going only to the manufacturer's site for drivers if you feel that is the problem. If you have not made any major hardware changes, then I would say to go ahead and update all available drivers for your operating system and model number.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.
