My memory is going down too, but that's because of my age :)) Do you mean disk space ? Memory doesn't go up or down, but the amount of space on your hard drive will for many reasons.

One reason your hard disk capacity (not memory, which is RAM) goes down is because of updates. It would be worth clearing your temporary internet files.

Hi, Derek! Thank you for your response. As far as temporary, or "junk" files go, I clean my PC out every day. I use Advanced System Care4 and CCleaner. I THINK what happened was I adjusted in the System Protection(in the Control Panel), and I set aside more disk space to be used for System Restore. All in all, I also spoke to my PC manufacturer, and the rep said my hard disk looks OK. I set aside more space since I wanted more restore points so I could go back a few days further if I wanted to.

And, while I was writing you, I gained about 6GIGs hard disk space(not sure why, since I also added another restore point), and about 30 min. ago I had lost 2GIGs, or it went down 2GIGs. But like I said, I couldn't understand why it went down by like, 9GIGs one day, 12GIGs the next.

But now, I'm pretty sure it's because of the configuration I did in the System Protection. God Bless & take care!

Unfortunately over the course of time HD space gets used up due to updates to Windows (and any other program that updates). This could be part of the reason it diminishes.

Thx for popping back with the latest situation.
