Solved esobi is controlling my programs

June 14, 2013 at 13:55:19
Specs: Windows 7
Whenever I try to open any program on my desktop, esobi opens them and i dont know why.
I have tried to system restore but it doesnt change anything.
All my icons have changed to the esobi picture too, the only way i can open internet etc is by clicking on properties and then selecting file location.
I would be grateful of any help with this

I'm guessing you have an Acer? If you don't want eSobi, simply uninstall it.

CNet (#2) is best avoided, they foist a downloader on you (hover mouse over green Download button). I have found CNet bad at adding unwanted goodies generally. If you want to use that program it would be safer to download it from Softpedia, here:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System...

If you are not sure which file association to choose when using the above program you might be better off running the EXE fix from here instead, as that could be all you need:

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
