You need to balance the number of layers of protection with your computer's resources so it doesn't adversely affect performance too much.

I just use Comodo Internet Security, nothing else, and I've been fine on my three computers, never had any malware or virus infections with Comodo installed and that's over the past 7 years.

Doesn't really answer your question, but then I never use those security apps. Just giving you my opinion and what my strategy is - - simple but very effective.

You have some good programs on the list but there is no program that can guarantee protection from browser exploits or any other virus for that matter. Safe browsing habits can help but there is no total immunity. The bad guys are always ahead of the good guys.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Also use this little file from time to time which can find other things you didn't know you had:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/dow...
You download and Save the file from the blue Download button, then double click the saved file to run it. After you've run the Scan (quite quick) there are options but it is usually safe to run the Clean. It's updated very frequently by downloading a new file.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
